Lee Hye-ri Steals the Spotlight at Busan's Buil Film Awards Handprinting Event

Actress Lee Hye-ri drew all eyes at the handprinting ceremony for the 35th Buil Film Awards, held at the Grand Ballroom of Signiel Busan in Haeundae District, Busan. She lit up the room with a wide range of expressions, from bright greetings to focused listening.
A Navy Floral Look and Warm Stage Presence

The pre-ceremony event took place on the afternoon of the 7th, ahead of the main awards show. Lee, who won Best New Actress last year for the film 'Victory', joined other key winners from the 34th edition, including Lee Byung-hun for 'Victory' in the film 'The Match', Jang Dong-gun, who received the Yu Hyun-mok Film Arts Award, and Choi Hyun-jin of 'Summer Scent'.
Seated at the panel table beside her name card, Lee wore a navy dress with thin straps and a deep V-neckline, embroidered with white flowers and leaves. She paired it with a delicate necklace with a small pendant, keeping the styling simple. With her long, dark hair worn straight and down, she opened both hands and greeted reporters with a big smile.
As the event went on, she reacted to the mood in the room. She widened her eyes and clapped along, folded her hands lightly and gazed ahead as she listened, and raised a hand slightly with a faint smile while focusing on others' remarks.
After the handprinting and red carpet events, the main ceremony began at 4:30 p.m., hosted by Kim Nam-gil and Chun Woo-hee, followed by an open talk with the winners of this year's Star Award.

Why It Matters
The Buil Film Awards, launched in 1958, is the largest film festival in the Busan region. It was suspended in 1973 amid a slump in the Korean film industry, revived in 2008, and now stands as a core awards event during the Busan International Film Festival.
